Ministry Experience

In obedience to God’s call, he pursued theological studies through an extension Bible college and, led by divine guidance, established a church in Pallikaranai on January 7, 1990 - Hope AG Church .

He faithfully served the Assemblies of God in a variety of leadership roles. He ministered as a Section Secretary alongside Rev. D. Mohan , and also held the same role under the leadership of Rev. V.S. Samuel Raj. He played a key role as a Sectional In-Charge during the impactful Decade of Harvest movement. In addition, he served as the Sectional Christ Ambassadors (CA) Leader – Chennai, inspiring and mentoring youth across the region.

Rev. I. Christdhas later became the Presbyter for the Kanchipuram Section. Through his dedicated ministry and strategic leadership, the Kanchipuram section experienced such growth and momentum that it was later divided into four new sections—a testimony to the Lord’s work through him.

He was subsequently appointed as a Regional Overseer and later honored to serve as a Committee Member in the Tamil District Assemblies of God. His commitment to church growth also led him to key roles in the Evangelism and Church Planting Department, where he served first as Assistant Director and then as Director.

Additionally, he contributed as the Treasurer of the Tamil District Men’s Fellowship, continuing to support and build various ministries within the church.

A man with a burning passion for church planting, Rev. I. Christdhas has pioneered 138 churches to the glory of Jesus Christ. His life is a living testimony of faith, vision, and tireless service for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
